We would like to express our gratitude to our two receptionists who are valuable members of our team. While many of you are familiar with their faces, we have taken the opportunity to delve deeper into their passion for their roles and the reasons behind their choice to become receptionists.
Lillian Johns
After a lengthy career at a major multinational corporation, I realized upon early retirement, I desired a change. I wanted to utilize my organizational skills in a smaller setting, where I could have a positive impact. I found the idea of working in a local veterinary practice, due to my passion for animals and familiarity with the establishment, very appealing. When an opportunity arose for a part-time receptionist position, I eagerly accepted.
I have successfully completed the Bronze, Silver, and Gold qualifications from The British Veterinary Receptionist Association, attaining the title of 'Registered Veterinary Receptionist.'
I am truly passionate about my job, the connections I have formed, the clients and their beloved pets I have come to know, and the wealth of knowledge I have acquired.

After taking a break from veterinary industry, as a receptionist, for a year and a half, I recognized my strong passion for the industry and decided to join Banstead Village Vets.
What I enjoy most about my current role is building personal relationships with clients and patients, allowing me to recognize them even before they arrive.
Additionally, it is gratifying to be part of a team that contributes to the well-being of pets. I have two beautiful hamsters as pets, one called 'Maverick' and the other called 'Bear', and they are a huge part of my life!
We are so lucky to have such a great reception team that aim to give our clients and patients the best care with their varied skill set that they offer.
We at Banstead village vets would like to say a big 'Thank You' to our receptionist team and to all veterinary receptionists out there!
