Clyde is a  12 year old labrador, and he gave us all quite a scare!

He was admitted to our practice with probable Acute Hemorrhagic Diarrhoea Syndrome (AHDS), complicated by pancreatitis and gastric stasis.

He was dehydrated, lethargic and in need of urgent care. He required several days of intensive hospitalisation which consisted of intravenous fluids to correct his dehydration, a cocktail of medication, nutritional support and regular monitoring by our nursing team.

Throughout his stay, our nursing team showed incredible dedication and team work by monitoring him meticulously, taking him out for regular toilet breaks, gentle encouragement with his appetite alongside giving him consistent gold-standard medical care.

Clyde has made a full recovery and is doing so well at home! We are all so happy to see him back to his normal ‘waggy-tail’ self!
