Internal medicine focuses on diagnosing and managing a wide range of medical conditions, particularly those that are ongoing, recurrent or more complex. This may include problems affecting the digestive system, liver, kidneys, endocrine system, respiratory tract and more.
As a first-opinion practice, we investigate many medical conditions using a combination of clinical examination, history-taking, laboratory testing and imaging. We will work with you to build a clear picture of your pet’s health and create an appropriate treatment or management plan.
Some conditions can be successfully managed within general practice, while others may benefit from referral for specialist input. If referral is recommended, we will explain why and support you through the next steps.
