We assess lameness and a wide range of musculoskeletal problems in dogs and cats as part of our first-opinion service. If your pet is limping, struggling to exercise, showing signs of pain, or finding it difficult to jump or climb, we can help investigate the cause.

Orthopaedic assessment may involve a physical examination, gait evaluation, pain assessment and imaging where appropriate. Once we understand the nature of the problem, we will discuss the treatment options available, which may include rest, pain relief, rehabilitation advice, further diagnostics or referral.

As a general practice, we manage many routine musculoskeletal conditions and will recommend referral where advanced orthopaedic expertise or specialised procedures are required.
